5 New Games You Have Try

Puzzle games used to be a simple genre with a simple idea. You solve puzzles for time killing enjoyment. However, the genre ballooned in a big way on mobile. In fact, it’s one of the most popular genres on the entire platform.

These days, you can find some seriously good puzzle games on Android. Gone are the days of super simple mechanics and graphics with goofy ideas. Some of these games are actually fairly intense and complex with stories and even really good graphics. This list changes almost entirely every year and here are 5 of the best just released for Android.

Human Fall Flat is coming to mobile

Initially released on PC back in 2016, No Brakes Games’ Human: Fall Flat is coming too. That’s thanks to an agreement between Human: Fall Flat publisher Curve Digital and 505 Games, which is best known for publishing the ARMA series, Payday 2, the upcoming Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, and many more games.

Human: Fall Flat is a physics-driven puzzle game that also includes platformer elements. You play as Bob, a customizable all-white human whose standard appearance is extremely plain, save for the baseball cap. You can dress up Bob in different costumes and even paint his body in different colors.

It’s your job to have Bob grab objects and use them to clear each puzzle. The animations are intentionally goofy, so these puzzles won’t be easy to clear. The game includes hidden remotes that provide players with hints to solve the puzzles.

The PC and console versions of the game resonated with people and although it’s not clear when the game will be released, you can be sure it’s gonna be a winner.

Forza Street

Microsoft’s Turn 10 Studios is adding a new game to the popular Forza series. Called Forza Street, it’s a free-to-play racing game that’s already available for Windows 10 devices and is coming to Android sometime later this year.

The game itself centers on street racing, as players take control of various vehicles, with the goal, of course, to win events. Players can go through various single player races and chapters. After they win, they can get points to upgrade their existing cars with better parts or to get new and faster vehicles.

As you can tell by its name, the new game is all about street racing. Your goal is to win events, after which you get points to upgrade your cars or buy new ones to add to your garage.

Unlike the Forza Motorsport series, Forza Street is aimed at casual gamers who want a more arcade-like experience. You still have to put in lots of effort to win races, though.

The game is all about timing: pressing the gas, brake, and boost option at the right moment is the key to overtaking opponents and finishing the race first. The game is bound to have wide appeal.

Hamsterdam

In this game, you step into the shoes of Pimm, a cute hamster on a mission. The evil chinchilla Marlo and his Vermin gang have turned the once peaceful city of Hamsterdam into a dangerous place.

You play as Pimm, a skilled martial artist who also happens to be a hamster. Pimm is on the warpath after a rodent gang took over his hometown and kidnapped his grandfather.

It’s your job to take to the streets and cleanse Hamsterdam of nasty crimes and libations. The ultimate goal is to get to the red light district, where boss Marlo the Chinchilla awaits.

You can personalize the main character with different outfits and accessories, ride across town on a scooter, and more.

The developer is launching Hamsterdam with the help of crowdfunding. The game is already listed on the Play Store, so you can sign up to get notified once it goes live.

Bad North

The game is all about positioning. You have to place your army at the right spots across the battlefield to come out on top. You also have to react quickly and know when to retreat to avoid defeat. Once you win a battle, you take on a new one on a different island, each of which has a unique layout.

It’s a simple strategy game, almost closer to being a puzzler. You have to defend a little square island, or more specifically, the little cottages dotted around it. You have up to four units to hold off waves of Viking invaders. Bad North is about shuffling units around to make sure someone is on the beach ready to greet approaching enemies.

It lures you in with some breezy opening missions. Slow waves of opponents, easy odds, basic islands with clear layouts.

Soon, a mission that looks the same as the last few has just one extra wave, one new type of foe, just a little extra something to catch you off-guard. You realise your progress has been crushed because of one bad decision, sending you back to start the campaign all over.

Diablo Immortal

The storyline takes place between the events of Diablo II and III. The Archangel Tyrael is believed to be dead, while the Worldstone has been shattered into various fragments. Those Worldstone segments are the source of new and ancient evil creatures who want to use the stone’s power to take over the land.

The game lets you choose from six classes (Barbarian, Monk, Wizard, Crusader, Demon Hunter, and Necromancer), with each one having a set of at least 12 skills. You’ll be able to explore and fight in nine outdoors areas and will come across a lot of creatures never seen before in a Diablo title.

Choose your hero character from the six champions with each having their own myriad of skills and devastating abilities. Experience the untold story of the Diablo saga with the adventure happening between the timelines of the Diablo 2 and 3 games.

As the world is plunged into a new terror of Diablo’s minions and the fragments of the worldstone broken and corrupted the land too and brought forth ancient evils. The heroes rise forth and will have to cleanse the evil.

The game offers new zones & dungeons to explore, lets you join other players in clearing dungeons, joining events for epic boss fights. The take a breather on the streets of Westmarch and where you can prepare for your next adventure.
